Key Responsibilities- Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes, pots, pans, and trays, and wash them by hand or place them in racks or on a conveyor to the dishwashing machine.
- Wash pots, pans, and trays based on assigned procedures, ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation.
- Polish silver using burnishing machines, chemical dips, buffing wheels, and hand cloths, depending on assigned equipment and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with outlined safety procedures and maintain temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.
- Keep the dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards, sweeping and mopping kitchen floors as needed.
- Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
- Remove trash and place it in designated containers, steam cleaning or hosing out garbage cans as needed.
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, helping to load and unload supplies and product.
