Job Overview

Position Summary:

One Haus is on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Restaurant General Manager to oversee and enhance our Food & Beverage operations. This role involves leading a talented team in a newly refurbished beachfront hotel, ensuring exceptional standards of service and product quality. The Restaurant GM will play a pivotal role in maximizing profitability while fostering a positive and engaging work environment for all staff.

Reporting Structure: Reports directly to the Hotel Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, train, and evaluate staff performance, fostering open communication and addressing any personnel issues.
  • Oversee the administration and planning of the Food and Beverage Department to meet operational needs.
  • Delegate responsibilities across various food and beverage sub-departments, including lounges, restaurants, and banquets.
  • Develop and implement operational schedules to achieve profitable outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Food and Beverage managers to create enticing menus aimed at attracting specific customer demographics.
  • Maintain effective control over food, beverage, and labor costs in line with hotel standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations regarding the service of alcoholic beverages.
  • Assist in achieving set profit objectives and uphold quality standards in food, service, and cleanliness.
  • Address guest requests and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction across all dining outlets.
  • Encourage a culture of exceptional guest service among all Food & Beverage staff.
  • Conduct regular training sessions and meetings to ensure adherence to service standards and operational procedures.
  • Continuously assess and enhance the performance of the Food and Beverage team.
  • Implement training programs to ensure all staff are equipped to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction levels and recommend operational improvements as necessary.
  • Assist in the development and execution of promotional initiatives for Food and Beverage offerings.
  • Utilize modern management tools for budgeting, forecasting, and operational planning.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies regarding procurement and financial management.
  • Drive sales initiatives and upselling programs across all service areas.
  • Participate in operational meetings and conduct inventory assessments as required.
  • Communicate effectively with staff to provide clear guidance and direction.
  • Maintain consistent attendance and availability for scheduled shifts.
  • Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
