Job Title: Admissions Nurse

Are you a compassionate and skilled nurse looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of terminally ill patients and their families? We are seeking an experienced Admissions Nurse to join our team at CorsoCare Hospice.

About the Role:

The Admissions Nurse will provide nursing care to patients in their homes, working closely with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and make sound judgments in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and reassess the nursing needs of patients and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide dietary counseling and education to patients and families
  • Initiate and implement nursing procedures and treatments as needed
  • Teach and supervise patients and families in providing care for the patient
  • Supervise and train other nursing service personnel
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and progress
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Ohio
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a registered nurse, with hospice experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and make sound judgments in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
