Position Overview

LTC Language Solutions is seeking an Interpreting Support Coordinator to enhance our Interpreting Department. We are in search of a proactive individual with outstanding communication abilities who is committed to delivering exceptional service. This role offers the opportunity to positively impact the lives of others while collaborating with a dedicated team that values challenge, reward, and inspiration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming calls and process requests during operational hours.
  • Coordinate appointments for both immediate and future interpreting services.
  • Input appointment details accurately prior to scheduled sessions.
  • Assist in monitoring departmental email communications as per the assigned schedule.
  • Collect and verify timesheets from interpreters post-appointments, ensuring accuracy within our systems.
  • Maintain and update the interpreting database, including interpreter availability and compliance documentation.
  • Participate actively in departmental meetings.
  • Contribute innovative ideas to enhance interpreting and translation services.
  • Support clients and community outreach initiatives as directed.
  • Be available for holiday phone coverage as required.
  • Perform additional related tasks as assigned.

Position Requirements:

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Education: Preferred Associate's degree.

Experience: Familiarity with diverse cultures and languages; prior interpreting experience is advantageous.

Knowledge: Proficient in MS Office (particularly Excel), excellent telephone etiquette, customer service-oriented, organized, and detail-focused. Ability to manage time effectively is essential.
