Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the Chief Financial Officer - Corporate Controller is accountable for overseeing all financial operations, including accounting, consolidations, taxation, financial planning and analysis, and treasury functions within the organization. Key responsibilities encompass managing month-end closures, producing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, as well as budgeting and forecasting, audit and tax submissions, and overseeing cash flow and profitability.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Direct and supervise all facets of the company's global accounting and reporting functions, which include Corporate Accounting, Treasury, Tax, Financial Reporting, and Financial Systems.
- Ensure the integrity and precision of consolidated financial statements globally, adhering to U.S. GAAP standards.
- Facilitate the identification, assessment, design, and implementation of efficient processes and system usage, focusing on compliance, risk management, cost efficiency, and best practices for global consolidation, financial reporting, and analytics.
- Conduct account analyses as necessary to provide insights into operations and monitor financial risks and opportunities, offering recommendations and taking appropriate actions.
- Assist in formulating the budget, forecasts, and long-term planning processes.
- Support the CFO in global treasury functions, including account structuring, debt oversight, and cash forecasting.
- Coordinate the activities of external auditors for the company's consolidated financial statements, bank audits, and other reporting obligations.
- Oversee tax compliance activities with third-party partners.
- Assist in leading financial systems implementations.
- Guide, mentor, and develop all members of the accounting team.
- Support the CFO with special projects as needed.
- Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience required.
- Proficiency in U.S. GAAP application is essential.
- Experience with Epicor ERP System is preferred.
- Familiarity with financial planning and consolidation systems is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy while adhering to deadlines.
- Self-motivated with a high degree of personal organization and initiative.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Prior experience managing both direct and indirect teams.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing job requirements are crucial.
- Robust financial background is necessary.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field is required.
- CPA designation is preferred.
