Job Overview

The Financial Services Manager plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth for the dealership by effectively selling finance and insurance programs to new and used vehicle customers. This position requires a unique blend of sales acumen, technical expertise, and exceptional communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase finance and insurance penetration
  • Provide customers with comprehensive explanations of aftermarket products and extended warranties
  • Collaborate with sales teams to ensure seamless execution of finance and insurance sales
  • Process finance and lease deals accurately, fairly, and in accordance with local, state, and federal statutes, and company policies
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with multiple finance sources, including the manufacturer
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes to ensure compliance
  • Supervise and train designated backup to ensure continued efficiency in the F I manager's absence
  • Ensure that all finance and insurance fees are collected in a timely manner
  • Prepare reports on finance penetration and provide insights to management
Requirements
  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent; and two to three year's related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect the new and used vehicle and finance departments
  • Computer proficiency and ability to process data for management analysis
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Account, or Finance or equivalent; and three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • AFIP Certification is preferred but not required
Work Environment

This position requires a good deal of sitting with walking or standing from time to time with some pushing and pulling of arm or leg controls. This position involves repetitive motion and requires the ability to talk and hear. The position is primarily located in an office environment, with heating and air conditioning.
