Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise a team of housekeeping staff to maintain exceptional cleanliness and organization of guest rooms and public areas.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure high standards of cleanliness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Training and Development: Train new housekeeping staff members on proper cleaning procedures and hotel policies.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed to maintain stock levels.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient turnover of rooms for arriving guests.
Requirements
  • Experience: Three years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field, with prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to perform medium work, exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
  • Communication Skills: Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English required.
