Job Summary

Cyient is seeking a skilled Telecommunications Field Specialist to join our team in the NE Region, NW Region, and SE Region of the United States.

This role requires extensive travel throughout the US to collect and analyze field data related to Telecom poles, Aerial/Underground structures, and Street/Right of Way measurements for future/current Cell Sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and submit data using various types of handheld electronic GIS equipment and other handheld devices.
  • Identify ideal locations and situations for above ground equipment and fiber optic cables.
  • Analyze existing field conditions and record measurements for future/current Cell Sites.
  • Engage with business and personal property owners to obtain necessary information.
  • Work with Cyient customers to manage Outside Plant(OSP) Telecom field data collection.
Requirements
  • Must have a permanent residing US address and current authorization to work in the United States.
  • Ability to travel extensively and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of operational systems and ability to learn new equipment and software.
  • Formal technical training beyond high school and no prior experience required.

Cyient will provide job training in the use of electronic equipment and outside plant utility recognition/design.
