Maintenance Technician

Barrday Corp is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, production equipment, and grounds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with engineering to develop and implement preventative maintenance programs.
- Work collaboratively with manufacturing and engineering teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Recommend equipment upgrades and modifications to improve operational efficiency and safety.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall plant performance.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on mechanical studies or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in maintenance, with a strong background in mechanical systems.
- Experience with fork lift, crane, and hoist operations.
- Ability to operate machine shop equipment and perform basic welding tasks.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety and quality.
Working Conditions:
- Manufacturing environment with frequent standing, walking, and lifting.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull 50lbs.
