Job Description:

  • Supervise and Coordinate Nursing Care: The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all day-to-day activities related to nursing care throughout the hospital. They will work closely with nursing staff to ensure that patients receive excellent care and support.">
  • Leadership and Management Skills: As a Healthcare Supervisor, you will demonstrate leadership and basic management/supervisory skills. You will be responsible for motivating and guiding your team to achieve exceptional results and deliver outstanding patient care.">
  • Assessment and Judgment Skills: Superior assessment and judgment skills are essential for this role. You will need to make informed decisions quickly and effectively, prioritizing tasks and managing competing demands.">
  • Clinical Skills and Experience: Excellent clinical skills are required, with critical care experience preferred. You will need to have a strong understanding of nursing principles and practices, as well as the ability to apply them in a fast-paced environment.">

Requirements:

  • Education and Qualifications: A minimum of 6 years progressive work experience and 1 year management or supervisory experience are required. Supervisory experience may be obtained through coursework in supervision/management or actual work experience.">
  • Licensure and Certifications: A current SC RN license in good standing is required, along with BLS & ACLS certification.">
  • Additional Skills and Abilities: Ability to perform job functions while standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, and working indoors/outdoors in temperature extremes. Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. unassisted, exert up to 50 lbs. of force, and maintain 20/40 vision, corrected, in one eye or with both eyes.">
  • Work Environment: Work in a latex safe environment, rotating shifts, and overtime as required.">
