Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Middle School Spanish Teacher to join our team at Duval Charter School at Flagler Center. As a Spanish Language Educator, you will be responsible for creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment that fosters academic excellence and personal growth for our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with state and national standards, ensuring a comprehensive and challenging curriculum for our students.
  • Provide individualized instruction and support to students, tailoring your teaching approach to meet the diverse needs and abilities of your students.
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly, using a range of assessment tools and strategies to inform your teaching practice.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs that promote academic achievement and social-emotional growth.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, keeping them informed of student progress and involving them in the educational process whenever possible.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field.
  • Valid teaching certification in Spanish or a related subject area.
  • Minimum of one year of teaching experience, preferably in a middle school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of Spanish language and culture, as well as experience working with diverse student populations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
