Job Summary:

This position is responsible for training and supervising a team of package handlers and clerks on safety protocols, productivity standards, and job-related tasks. The supervisor will hold team members accountable for attendance and submit timecards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
  • Facilitate training sessions for new and current employees.
  • Conduct and participate in group meetings to discuss team performance and goals.
  • Coordinate evaluations with management to ensure team members are meeting expectations.
  • Determine effective solutions for package concerns and ensure timely resolution.
  • Supervise daily activities of package handlers and clerks to ensure all assigned duties are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Understand and consistently demonstrate UPS's high ethical standards and code of conduct.

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
  • Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to multitask.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred.
  • Management experience - Preferred.
