Position Overview
Are you prepared to impact the realm of wireless security? Join T-Mobile as a Lead Cybersecurity Architect. In this vital role within the Cybersecurity Strategy, Architecture, and Roadmap (SAR) team, you will significantly influence T-Mobile's technology strategy by defining, refining, and executing our information security architecture.

This position demands expertise in architectural frameworks, design modeling, strategic planning, and technology analysis to ensure a secure environment for T-Mobile's customers and employees while safeguarding essential assets from potential threats.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate across departments to comprehend the connection between T-Mobile's business objectives, business architectures, and security architectures, aiming to enhance T-Mobile's goals through architectural evolution.
  • Lead the advancement of security infrastructure, processes, technologies, and services by influencing key decision-makers.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including reference architecture diagrams and strategic roadmaps.
  • Develop and advocate for end-to-end technology and security roadmaps that direct the evolution of security infrastructure, products, and services.
  • Establish strong working relationships with business lines and technology partners, making informed decisions that drive security evolution.
  • Act as a subject matter expert across various security domains, ensuring alignment with security strategies and architectural principles.
  • Drive significant cybersecurity initiatives that align with the overall strategy, ensuring effective implementation of the roadmap.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies in cybersecurity, fostering awareness among key stakeholders and inspiring improvements in T-Mobile's cybersecurity posture.
  • Mentor team members on information assurance and security best practices in your area of expertise.

Required Technology and Platform Experience:
Experience with IAM tools such as Okta, SailPoint, Entra ID, and Ping Identity; familiarity with federation protocols like SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect; knowledge of multi-factor authentication (MFA) solutions; and experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their IAM capabilities.
