Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Developer to join our team as a Technical Solutions Architect. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing technical solutions that cater to Walmart's physical POS clients, as well as Ecommerce and omnichannel consumers across multiple markets and geographies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a comprehensive payment lifecycle management solution that supports a wide range of tender types, including Credit/Debit cards, Gift cards, EBT, eWIC, Phone cards, PayPal, Chase pay, etc.
  • Build scalable and high-performing services to support a wide range of tender types.
  • Lead small groups of six to ten engineers in software development and design, identifying short- and long-term solutions and timelines.
  • Review and approve proposed solutions, implement new architectural patterns, and perform design and code reviews of changes.
  • Provide support to the business for new and existing systems by responding to user questions, concerns, and issues.
Requirements
  • Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, CI/CD flows, DevOps, Scrum, Kanban, SQL/NoSQL DB (Oracle, MySQL, Spanner, Cassandra), and Cloud Experience (Google, Microsoft, Open Stack).
  • Extensive experience in RESTful Microservices and API design, development, and management.
  • Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker & Kubernetes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create robust documentation.
  • Strong multitasking skills and the ability to work on multiple requirements and features concurrently.
