Senior Attorney

Anywhere Real Estate is seeking a seasoned attorney to join our legal team. This role involves representing the company and its affiliated real estate agents in various legal proceedings, providing counsel to executive and branch office management, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

• Represent the company and affiliated real estate agents in litigation, arbitration, mediation, and regulatory proceedings.
• Investigate legal issues, interpret laws and regulations involving multifaceted substantive legal areas, including real estate brokerage, contracts, regulatory compliance, and licensing.
• Provide legal counsel to executive and branch office management on various legal matters.
• Offer risk-management and continuing education to staff and agents.
• Ensure the company's operations comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents.
• Manage and resolve disputes involving the company and its affiliates.

• 4 to 7 years of litigation experience, with a strong background in litigation and trial practice.
• Active membership in the California Bar.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

• In-depth understanding of real estate brokerage, contracts, regulatory compliance, and licensing.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and provide practical solutions.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
