Senior Attorney Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Attorney to join our team at Acxiom. As a Senior Attorney, you will provide expert advice and counsel on labor and employment matters, working closely with our HR team to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and guidance on employment-related matters, including employment contracts, employee relations, and labor law compliance.
  • Investigate and resolve associate relations complaints, ensuring fair and timely resolution.
  • Draft and negotiate third-party service contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Advise on employment-related compliance matters, including responses to regulators and dispute resolution.
  • Collaborate with management and HR to develop and implement effective employment policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in good standing.
  • At least 5 years of experience in labor and employment law, with a strong background in compliance and dispute resolution.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to summarize complex issues for review by business leaders.
