Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Radiant Global Logistics Inc. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in reviewing, balancing, and posting corporate financial data into the general ledger accounts to ensure accurate balances are reflected in the financial statements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and balance corporate financial data from multiple systems into the General Ledger
  • Analyze and reconcile complex Balance Sheet accounts, identifying and resolving discrepant items timely and accurately
  • Prepare, reconcile, and post accounting transactions
  • Research questions about financial information, and post correcting entries in accordance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies
  • Work on complex accounting concepts, including foreign exchange, intercompany, ASC 842, ASC 606, and other items as they arise
  • Collaborate with acquired entities on their business processes to ensure consistency with internal accounting policies
  • Review Profit and Loss statements for each entity and operating location
  • Assist in the preparation and review of Form 10-Qs and Form 10-K supporting schedules
  • Serve as backup support to other team members
  • Recommend and help develop and implement workflow improvements
  • Identify issues and bring inconsistencies and problems to the attention of management
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • CPA is preferred, public accounting experience is preferred
  • 5+ years accounting experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Working knowledge of SAP and/or Blackline is preferred
  • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in verbal and written form
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess strong quantitative and analytical skills with attention to details, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrates deep understanding of how to apply U.S. GAAP to General Ledger accounting
  • Executes effectively by using resources efficiently, meeting deadlines, and keeping others informed of work plans and progress toward goals
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, spreadsheets, emails, and instructions
Work Environment
  • Full-time schedule of minimum 8 hours per day with flexibility to complete all required job duties and responsibilities
  • Remote work on Friday's is an option

  • Regular physical demands: Walk; sit; use hands to handle or feel; use fingers for keyboarding; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear
Language Skills
