New York-Presbyterian is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric or Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will work closely with world-renowned neonatologists, nurses, and scientists to deliver exceptional patient care and outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns and their families
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Conduct thorough assessments, diagnose, and treat patients with complex medical conditions
- Participate in educational programs to enhance knowledge and skills
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient outcomes
Requirements:
- Master's degree in nursing
- Current New York State NP license
- NRP certification
- BLS/ACLS certification
- At least one year of NICU NP experience
- Preferred criteria: At least 2 years of NICU RN experience if an NNP (PNP requires 5 years NICU experience)
