Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our team at NYU Langone Health. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill newborns and their families in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage the physical and emotional needs of newborns and their families in the NICU.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote optimal health outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Provide education and support to families on neonatal care and health promotion.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing.
  • Current registration as a Professional Nurse in New York and registration as a Nurse Practitioner in New York.
  • Board certification in Neonatal Nursing.
  • At least 5 years of clinical nursing experience in the care of critically ill newborns.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
