Job Title: Windows Systems Administrator

Job Summary:

Integrated Computer Solutions, Inc. is seeking a skilled Windows Systems Administrator to join our team. As a Windows Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for organizing and managing the functionality and efficiency of multiple Windows-based operating systems and supporting systems within the Operating Environment (OE).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and guidance for the Windows enterprise server and associated client operations, ensuring effective middleware management.
• Administer system accounts and maintain documentation while tuning system performance and installing necessary software updates.
• Validate and implement critical system patches, manage storage allocation, and diagnose and repair system faults.
• Support the customer base by following standard operating procedures (SOPs) for incident and problem management at various support tiers.
• Conduct capacity and performance analysis, recommending changes to enhance system stability and performance.
• Manage the configuration and operation of information management systems to ensure they are available for mission-critical operations.
• Perform network management tasks, including planning, deploying, and troubleshooting network operations for designated systems.
• Monitor performance and ensure cybersecurity measures are in place to maintain system integrity.
• Maintain an operations log to document significant events and ensure regular testing of backup and restore procedures.
• Evaluate software guidelines and project plans, offering resolutions for patch management and system administration.
• Use automated tools to improve system administration efficiency and develop procedures to enhance daily operations.
• Coordinate system installations and migrations, supporting desktop and virtual client management operations.
• Ensure compliance with security protocols and maintain data availability through robust backup and disaster recovery plans.

Requirements:

• Minimum Active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to be Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) indoctrinated;
• High school diploma;
• DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical Level II (IAT-II) Certification (CompTIA Security+CE);
• 5 years of technical experience, providing system and application administration.
