Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a positive and productive office environment that ensures optimal patient care and customer service.
  • Supervise and manage the office team, including selection, training, and development of non-clinical staff members.
  • Evaluate and improve office production and procedures to enhance efficiency, patient retention, and profitability.
  • Analyze and organize office operations, including bookkeeping, invoice processing, cash control, and payroll preparation.
  • Organize daily office operations, schedule staff, and conduct team huddles to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Collect payments from patients and handle cash transactions in accordance with our Cash Handling Policy.
  • Review production reports and communicate results with the team to meet or exceed budget targets.
  • Act as a backup to the front office team, scheduling appointments, answering phones, and assisting with patient questions.
  • Address patient complaints in a timely and compassionate manner.
  • Recruit, retain, and terminate staff, working with HR to resolve employee issues.
  • Maintain advanced knowledge of software systems for managerial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with state dental laws, health and safety regulations, and office policies.
Requirements
  • Previous dental or healthcare management experience preferred but not required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer literacy, with QSI/Denticon experience a plus.
