Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at TotalMed Allied. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for medical professionals to interpret.
Responsibilities:
- Operate imaging equipment, such as CT scanners and X-ray machines, to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Position patients correctly to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures
- Monitor patients during imaging procedures to ensure their safety and comfort
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures
- Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging results
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography
- 1+ year of experience as a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
