Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist at Trinity Health, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care by performing a variety of specialized invasive and non-invasive diagnostic radiologic procedures. Collaborating with physicians and the radiology team, you will operate diagnostic imaging equipment to obtain optimal quality radiographs for interpretation.
Responsibilities:
Perform a range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including invasive and non-invasive techniques.
Operate diagnostic imaging equipment to obtain high-quality radiographs.
Collaborate with physicians and the radiology team to ensure accurate diagnoses.
Maintain a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to ALARA techniques.
Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and procedures.
Requirements:
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
Certification as a Radiographer by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and willingness to maintain certification.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Ability to function with limited or no supervision in normal circumstances.
Ability to assume leadership responsibilities in the absence of lead and/or manager.
Ability to recognize pathology and modify examination to provide a complete diagnosis.
