Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the physical security, IT, or electronics field
  • Experience in configuring access control and surveillance systems
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate company vehicles
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to read and use measuring tapes, levels, and other required tools for installation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Desire to learn and stay up-to-date with industry developments
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and overnights, as required
  • Comfortable working at heights, such as ladders and aerial man-lifts
  • Ability to present oneself in a professional and neat manner
  • Strong organizational, attention to detail, and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Work Environment

The Security Service Technician will work in a fast-paced environment, often in variable weather conditions. The position may require frequent heavy lifting and exposure to forklifts or other heavy machinery. The worker is subject to frequent heavy lifting.

Compensation

Compensation for this position ranges from $25-$40 per hour, depending on experience.
