Job Title: Field Service Technician I

Welcome to Light & Wonder, Inc., a global leader in gaming technology. We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician I to join our team in the Delaware Park & Dover area and region.

Job Summary

This is a customer-facing role that requires the ability to install, maintain, and troubleshoot our award-winning games at customer sites. As a Field Service Technician I, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on Electronic Gaming Machines (EGMs), Electronic Table Games (ETGs), and equipment, ensuring proper operations, and completing accurate incident reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance on EGMs, ETGs, and equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with gaming regulations.
  • Conduct diagnostic tests, software settings, and functional testing to identify and resolve issues.
  • Navigate the Management Terminal (MT) daily to verify EGM status and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Assemble and prepare accessories for installations as needed.
  • Complete incident reports and maintenance records in a clear and concise manner.
  • Document daily and weekly technical logs to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Adhere to established standards, policies, and procedures for Field Service operations.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and in good working condition.
  • Stay up-to-date with Light & Wonder Field Advisories and eLearning resources.
  • Collaborate with management and technical leads to resolve customer issues and improve service delivery.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license.
  • One year of experience in assembly, testing, and repair of electronic gaming devices, or six months of experience with a related gaming school certificate of completion, or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of electricity, electronics, and mechanics of gaming devices.
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds regularly for short distances.
  • Transport heavy equipment using proper moving devices.
  • Demonstrate safe and proper use of hand tools and power tools.
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to read and understand Light & Wonder schematics and service manuals.
  • Able to prepare conversion projects or installations with limited or no supervision.
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to maintain good customer relations.
Education

High school diploma or equivalent. College-level electronics training is helpful.
