Position Overview

This role operates under the supervision of the QA/Sanitation Supervisor, collaborating closely with other operational, maintenance, and management personnel.

What We Offer:

  • 12-hour night shifts (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) on a 2/2/3 schedule.
  • Hourly compensation of $21.24, with an additional $1.50/hour for night shift differential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate effectively with the Sanitation Lead and maintain positive relationships with team members and other departments.
  • Communicate operational and safety concerns promptly to the Supervisor to prevent accidents and downtime.
  • Assist during start-up processes to ensure operational readiness.
  • Conduct timely pre-flight checks of equipment to ensure proper assembly and operation.
  • Inspect and release equipment in accordance with quality standards.
  • Safely operate and maintain complex machinery, including Bridge Machines and Extruders.
  • Ensure cleanliness and safety in work areas, adhering to GMP standards.
  • Utilize chemicals safely and knowledgeably, following all safety protocols.
  • Document sanitation processes accurately for compliance.
  • Complete work orders promptly to facilitate repairs.
  • Maintain a positive and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or GED preferred, or 2+ years of relevant experience.

Experience: On-the-job training is provided.

Skills:

  • Strong reading, math, computer, and leadership abilities.
  • Basic mechanical skills, including the use of tools and lubrication techniques.
  • Familiarity with Nestlé Lockout/Tagout and Confined Space Policies.
