Job Title: Advanced Practice Registered Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Registered Nurse to join our team at Beacon Mental Health. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our treatment programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial psychiatric assessments and develop treatment plans in accordance with agency timelines and DSM/ICD regulations.
  • Prescribe medications and monitor client response, providing education to clients and their significant others as needed.
  • Provide crisis intervention and evaluation, working collaboratively with other clinical staff to ensure necessary resource linkage.
  • Represent Beacon Mental Health in a positive and cooperative manner, identifying and reporting concerns regarding service delivery system improvement.
  • Contribute to the functioning of the treatment team, informing members of issues impacting care in a timely and succinct manner.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Nursing and licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in Missouri.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or 3-5 years of RN experience in behavioral health with licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Strong understanding of HIPAA rules, client confidentiality, and therapeutic boundaries.
  • Excellent diagnostic skills and strong documentation skills with experience working within an EHR.
