Technology Services Group Inc. is seeking a Senior Vice President, Backend Engineering to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing high-level application software development services and technical support for backend features and components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal business groups to understand their technology needs and provide strategic guidance on software development and technical support.
- Lead the development of backend features and components, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, and develop project plans and timelines.
- Develop and implement vendor-specific methodologies, including Agile Software development methodology, and consult with structured methodologies to ensure efficient and effective software development.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and make recommendations for their adoption and implementation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, and 9 years of experience in software development and technical leadership.
- Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and delivering complex software projects on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
