Position Overview:
The Customer Care Representative will play a critical role in ensuring that our customers receive a high level of service and support throughout the warranty process. This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Travel to various communities to meet with homeowners and address their warranty-related concerns.
- Coordinate the scheduling of warranty repair work with subcontractors and ensure that repairs are completed to a high standard.
- Provide clear instructions to customers on homeowner maintenance and communicate when repairs are not warrantable.
- Ensure that warranty request calls are responded to within 24 hours and that service is scheduled for completion within 7-10 business days.
- Manage updates within our warranty tracking system and establish effective relationships with subcontractors.
- Proactively communicate any construction, customer service, or safety issues to management with suggestions for resolution.
Qualifications:
- Strong social and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage conflict and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in a customer service environment, preferably within the construction industry.
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office systems (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Valid Driver's license.
- Ability to travel within the designated area.
