Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team as an Imaging Specialist. This role will involve supervising the delivery of radiological services, recommending changes and improvements, and participating in the development of training programs for radiographic personnel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the delivery of radiological services, ensuring compliance with established standards and procedures.
  • Recommend changes and improvements to enhance the delivery of radiological services.
  • Participate in the development of training programs for radiographic personnel, ancillary personnel, and allied healthcare professionals.
  • Perform radiologic procedures, including diagnostic and interventional radiography.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities, including coordination, control, and maintenance of technical equipment.
  • Participate in and coordinate procurement and storage of supplies, making recommendations regarding supply and equipment needs.
  • Perform research and participate in special projects involving evaluation of equipment and delivery of service.

Requirements

  • A valid license and current registration to practice Diagnostic Radiography as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the NYSDOH.
  • Two years of Radiologic Technologist experience performing duties consistent with Assignment Levels I and II, one year of which must have been in a supervisory capacity.
