Senior Analyst, Operations

Walmart Data Ventures is seeking a driven Senior Analyst, Operations to join our dynamic Strategic Account Management team. This role requires excellent process management and communication skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather data requirements and partner with cross-functional teams to initiate client setup
  • Monitor, track, and investigate support tickets
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and provide recommendations to solve business issues or needs
  • Support ad-hoc projects related to business growth in new markets and initiatives
  • Identify root causes and develop potential solutions for initiatives; and make recommendations based on data and observation
  • Partner with account management, business development, product management, and other groups to drive projects
  • Implement operational best practices that can be scaled as the business grows and develops by developing mechanisms and tools to roll out these best practices
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or related field OR 2 years' experience in operations, project management, or related area
  • Minimum 2 years experience in business operations, sales solutions, sales strategy, account management, or monetization
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or related field
  • Project Management Certification
  • Strong verbal and written communications – able to communicate effectively across varied audience base such as Product, Account Management, Business Development, and Leadership
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to work on multiple, simultaneous solutions
  • Experience developing quantitative analysis and delivering actionable insights
  • Self-starter mentality and entrepreneurial spirit with a strong drive for excellence and delivery of results
  • Some business insights or analysis
  • High level of accountability; proven ability to take ownership and solve problems
