Job Summary:
As a Snowmaker at Vail Resorts, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality skiing experience for our guests. You will be responsible for operating snowmaking equipment, maintaining vehicles, and performing basic maintenance tasks to ensure the production of snow for our slopes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate snowmaking equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Maintain and repair snowmobiles and other vehicles
• Perform basic maintenance tasks on snowmaking equipment
• Work collaboratively with the winter operations team to achieve snow production goals
Requirements:
• Valid driver's license with no restrictions
• Ability to communicate fluently in English
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Basic hand tool knowledge and skill
• Ability to work extended hours outdoors in an alpine environment
