Job Summary:

At Vail Resorts, we're committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences, and our Snowmakers play a critical role in making that happen. As a Snowmaker, you'll be responsible for creating the perfect snow conditions for our guests to enjoy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate snowmaking equipment, including pumps, compressors, and snowmaking guns
  • Assist with day-to-day snowmaking operations, including quality checks and maintenance
  • Collaborate with snowmaking lead to ensure efficient and effective snowmaking processes
  • Maintain snowmaking equipment and buildings to ensure optimal performance
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Valid driver's license
  • Previous experience operating/maintaining heavy machinery; snowmaking experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English
  • Ability to work outdoors in alpine environments
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, holidays, and weekends
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
