Hospitalist Nurse Specialist

The Hospitalist Registered Nurse is a key member of the Singing River Health System team, responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and promoting a culture of excellence within the Inpatient Physician Services department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care utilizing the Nursing Process, adhering to the MS Nurse Practice Act, ANA Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice, and the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses.
- Act as a liaison between patients, physicians, and other hospital disciplines to ensure continuity of care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and open communication.
- Graduate from a NLN-accredited School of Nursing.
- Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Mississippi.
- Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of nursing experience, with a focus on hospital medicine or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
