Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to patient inquiries and provide information about our services and hours of operation.
  • Assist with patient registration duties, including collecting and verifying insurance cards and photocopying/scanning documentation.
  • Schedule, confirm, and verify patient appointments, as well as arrange follow-up visits and referral appointments.
  • Verify patient insurance information by contacting insurance carriers or utilizing automated verification systems.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail to the appropriate department.
  • Scan patient documents into our electronic medical record system.
  • De-escalate situations involving dissatisfied customers and provide patient assistance and support.
  • Provide clerical support to other departments and collaborate with team members to achieve common goals.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Proficient interpersonal relations and communication skills.
  • 2+ years' experience in customer service or healthcare facility preferred.
