About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Android Wireless Security Researcher to join our Mobile Systems team at Two Six Technologies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing advanced security research on applications and operating systems on mobile devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth security research on Android operating systems and applications to identify vulnerabilities and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with our team of vulnerability researchers, reverse engineers, and exploit developers to share knowledge and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Android operating system internals, including wireless communications and security features.
  • Design and implement secure software solutions to address identified vulnerabilities and improve overall system security.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends in the mobile industry, and adapt our research and development efforts accordingly.
Requirements
  • BS Degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of software development, reverse engineering, and vulnerability research.
  • Experience with Android operating system internals, including wireless communications and security features.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and Java.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Active US Security clearance of Top Secret level and ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI and Polygraph.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with software reverse engineering tools such as IDA Pro, Binary Ninja, and Ghidra.
  • Knowledge of modern web browser internals and security features.
  • Experience with wireless communications protocols such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and cellular.
  • Strong understanding of cryptography design and implementation concepts.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
