About the Role:

  • Conduct transmission planning studies to assess the impact of new generation and transmission projects on the existing grid.
  • Develop and evaluate interconnection requests, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and grid codes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to optimize grid performance and reliability.
  • Prepare technical reports and present findings to senior management and regulatory bodies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in transmission planning, interconnection studies, or related fields.
  • Proficiency with power system analysis software such as PSSE, PowerWorld, or TARA.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory standards (e.g., NERC, FERC) and grid code compliance requirements.
