Job Overview

QISG is a leading EPC contractor focused on the implementation of utility and industrial process infrastructure, including substations, power generation, and renewable energy projects. Our dedicated team comprises in-house experts, project managers, engineers, and support staff who ensure the successful execution of engineering, procurement, and construction for various initiatives.

We are currently in the process of planning and negotiating EPC contracts for significant electrical infrastructure projects and are looking to hire a Human Resources Specialist to be based at our headquarters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily operations of the Human Resources department, fostering partnerships across the organization to provide valuable services to management and employees.
  • Address employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, escalating complex issues to the HR Director.
  • Participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Administer human resource programs, including compensation, benefits, and performance management.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including background checks and orientation preparation.
  • Schedule and coordinate drug testing for employees.
  • Process E-Verify requests to confirm new hires' eligibility to work.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential HR records in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Collect and input employee data into various systems, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
  • Organize travel arrangements for HR and Operations teams as needed.
  • Conduct orientation sessions for new employees.
  • Stay informed about trends and changes in employment laws and best practices.
  • Adhere to internal policies and procedures while performing special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in various human resource functions, including employee relations and performance management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PHR certification is a plus.
