We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Safety Supervisor to join our team at American Lighting and Signalization, LLC. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees, customers, and the general public.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and evaluate data from health and safety programs to identify and mitigate hazards in the work environment.
- Evaluate and oversee existing health and safety management programs to reduce risk and improve compliance.
- Develop and implement new workplace health and safety programs to address emerging risks and hazards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of health and safety initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify and correct hazards.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain safety manuals, procedures, and training programs to ensure employee understanding and compliance.
- OSHA 30 or OSHA 500 certificate (less than 5 years old).
- CPR/First Aid/AED certified Instructor or can obtain within 90 days.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, training, and organizational skills.
- Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel to all locations within the region and for storm work duties.
The Regional Safety Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent travel to various job sites. The position requires the ability to work in a variety of weather conditions and to wear personal protective equipment as necessary.
