Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Public Area Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Atlantis Casino Resort Spa. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our public area housekeeping department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of public areas and public restrooms throughout the property.
  • Coordinate with various departments and casino shift managers to ensure seamless operations.
  • Monitor and coach team member performance in all cleaning areas, setting the example in cleaning and assisting team members as needed.
  • Inspect and check all public areas regularly, providing positive feedback or making immediate corrections as necessary.
  • Ensure daily and hourly cleaning of vertical and horizontal surfaces, tile, stone, carpet, and mirrors in F&B, casino, and common areas.
  • Stay up-to-date on cleaning products and equipment, ensuring team members are using the correct methods.
  • Assist with staff scheduling, coordinate event cleaning, and participate in various deep cleaning projects.
  • Perform all other cleaning and event duties as required by business needs.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (both English and Spanish preferred).
  • Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Prior supervisory experience in a casino, resort, or hotel environment is preferred, but other related and relevant supervisory experience is acceptable.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule depending on business needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle large deep cleaning projects.
  • Knowledge of major cleaning equipment operations, procedures, and methods.
