Compensation:
Starting salary at $60,000 (Exempt).
Role Responsibilities:
Manage the daily and long-term operations of the case management team by providing direction, resources, and support, while ensuring the quality and timely delivery of services to children and families.
Typical Duties of a Foster Care Team Leader:
- Ensure timely completion of service plans that incorporate client feedback.
- Assess all foster care services to ensure alignment with the agency's long-term goals and efficiency standards.
- Provide case management and support services when team members are unavailable.
- Review and approve documentation from supervised staff to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct weekly one-on-one supervision sessions with team members.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field.
- Experience in Child Welfare (preferred).
- Child Welfare Licensure (preferred).
Additional Requirements:
- Completion of DCFS criminal background check and fingerprinting.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Possess an insured vehicle.
- Minimum of three years of driving experience with a valid driver's license.
- Successful completion of DCFS Foundations Training for Child Welfare Licensure.
