About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Developmental Paraprofessional to join our team at Positive Development for Youth & Families. As a Developmental Paraprofessional, you will work one-on-one with our clients in their homes, using our innovative developmental approach to care. You will be fully supported by our Clinical team as you grow and develop in your role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one play-based care for children and young adults with autism, using our unique method of care.
  • Follow a personalized plan for each client, reporting progress through our custom mobile app.
  • Communicate effectively with clients' families, ensuring they are informed and involved in their child's care.
  • Attend clinical lectures and team meetings to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive company culture that values diversity and difference.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree a plus.
  • Previous experience working with children, particularly those with autism, is an asset.
  • Ability to commit to a part-time schedule of 6-10 hours per week.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license or state ID.
  • Physical ability to lift 60 lbs, get up and down from the floor, and actively play with children.
