About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all local events from conceptualization to execution. This includes assisting the Assistant Director of Event Sales and Director of Event Sales with advertising, purchasing, branding, and sponsorship fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize and Execute Events: Plan and execute layered, themed, and sponsored events to attract local and regional demographics.
  • Sales and Marketing: Assist in overall sales operation by utilizing relationships for talent bookings, DJ recommendations, promotional partners, etc.
  • Partnerships and Sponsorships: Cultivate, pitch, and secure local, regional, and national partners/sponsors to create events that attract publicity and attendance to the venue.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of venue's promotional items and research new and engaging giveaways that would make an overall positive impact to the guest experience.
  • Advertising and Collateral: Ensure all advertising collateral is sent to print, delivered, and posted by deadline.
  • Communication and Liaison: Liaise with hosts, promoters, and hotel departments to ensure all sales events and initiatives are properly being communicated to key constituents.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Stay current with local organizations, influencers, and events that could be potential partners, as well as stay current with all pop culture and current events and look for opportunities to capitalize on trends through nightclub events.
  • Business Development: Proactively reach out to relevant brands exhibiting at major conventions in the city for opportunities to host nightclub events and promotions during major convention weeks.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 4-5 years of experience: In sales, event planning, and execution, management, preferably with experience in nightlife-focused event sales.
  • Microsoft Office knowledge: And skills in financial planning, strategy, budget tracking, sales concepts, brand positioning, people management, competitive analysis, forecasting, client relationships, and creativity.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus commission. Additionally, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
