Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior BIOS Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing our server products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hardware engineering and software development, with a focus on BIOS development using UEFI technologies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop UEFI BIOS for desktop and server platforms
  • Perform BIOS porting for desktop, server board, and workstation platforms
  • Design and develop module codes for BIOS development
  • Provide engineering support to customers on BIOS-related issues
  • Verify BIOS system specifications
  • Manage project schedules from design phase to production
  • Test functionality and reliability, ensuring high-quality products
  • Work on related Linux kernel development and device drivers
  • Study computer motherboard, BIOS system specifications, and configuration requirements to optimize system efficiency
Qualifications
  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in low-level software development
  • Minimum 8 years of experience with either Legacy BIOS code or UEFI code
  • Strong background in software design with C, C++, and/or Assembly
  • Solid understanding of PC hardware architecture, BIOS, and Linux
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

Please note that this position requires regular in-office attendance. The successful candidate is expected to be present in the office during standard working hours as determined by the company.

The salary range for this position is $152,000 - $168,000, depending on several factors, including location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role.

In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
