Developmental Disability Care Specialist

Compensation PackageThe estimated annual salary for this position is $52,000 - $65,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement person-centered care plans, incorporating client preferences and goals.
- Provide personalized support with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Facilitate communication and interaction between clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of client progress, adhering to regulatory standards and agency policies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and client outcomes.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, preferably with experience in human services or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients and colleagues.
- A valid CT driver's license and reliable transportation, as travel between locations may be required.
