Job Title: Associate Director Client Advocacy, Accounting

About the Role:

Aon is seeking an experienced Associate Director Client Advocacy, Accounting to join our team. As a key member of our client services team, you will be responsible for providing world-class customer experience and managing reinsurance premium and pro-rata accounting activities for assigned clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure premium/pro-rata reports and settlements are timely and accurate, in accordance with contract terms
  • Guide and oversee the work of a team of technicians and mentor junior advocates
  • Assist clients with contractual requirements and help them navigate complex accounting issues
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and/or thought leader in reinsurance accounting
  • Lead or assist in project planning, strategic management and development of staff in core areas of expertise
  • Provide input and feedback for system design and testing

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree (BA/BS) in Finance, Accounting, Math or similar degree from a four-year college or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of insurance or reinsurance experience in an accounting, premium, claims, or broker client servicing role
  • Successful completion of Aon's technical training program or equivalent
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office suite of products, with Excel emphasis
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Ability to think strategically and analytically, with strong attention to detail
