Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team in the CT department. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CAT Scan procedures in accordance with protocols established by the Radiologist.
  • Operate the CT scanner during IR procedures in the CT department.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, reporting any equipment maintenance issues and monitoring supplies and deficiencies.
  • Adhere to all Infection Prevention policies, utilizing personal protective equipment as needed.
  • Maintain licensure and Basic Life Support certification.
  • Stay current with departmental training and participate in clinical activities, such as assisting with patient flow and care.
  • Remain compliant with timekeeping rules and adhere to departmental procedures, including life safety, fire, and hazardous waste protocols.
  • Attend staff meetings and participate in departmental on-call and holiday requirements.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technologist program.
  • Enrollment in or graduation from a qualified Computed Tomography program is preferred.
  • Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support).
  • Current ARRT license (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
  • Current NJ-RADTECH license (Radiologic Technologist).
  • ARRT Board Certified in Computed Tomography is preferred, with certification to be obtained within 12 months of employment.
