Position Overview

NOVA Home Loans is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Recruiter to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in enhancing our workforce by identifying and attracting top talent within the mortgage industry.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Recruiter, you will:

  • Leverage internal and external databases to identify potential Loan Officer candidates.
  • Engage with candidates through various communication channels, ensuring they meet our requirements and align with our culture.
  • Establish a strong online presence to promote the NOVA brand and attract quality candidates.
  • Collaborate with the Human Resources recruiting team to coordinate interviews between sales leadership and prospective candidates.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with candidates, addressing inquiries and providing updates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Conduct outreach through cold calls and follow up consistently with contacted candidates.
  • Manage candidate records in our CRM system and prepare status reports for executive leadership as needed.
  • Educate candidates about the resources and benefits available at NOVA.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in recruitment or sales.
  • A Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred, though not mandatory.
  • One (1) to three (3) years of experience in the mortgage industry is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and a results-driven mindset.
  • Self-motivation with the ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Excellent presentation, writing, and communication skills.
  • Capability to coordinate and lead meetings of varying sizes.
