Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Optical/Electronics Engineer-Associate Staff to join our team at MIT Lincoln Laboratory. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated background in firmware design and digital and analog electronics to help design the next generation of custom advanced EO/IR systems.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop custom advanced EO/IR systems
  • Work with a small team to architect, design, build, and test prototype systems
  • Develop and implement high-performance, real-time embedded firmware
  • Collaborate with system-level designers to craft electronics requirements
Requirements
  • Master's degree in electrical engineering, physics, or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in digital and analog electronics circuit design, high-performance, real-time embedded firmware development
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: digital and analog electronics circuit design, high-performance, real-time embedded firmware development
Desired Skills
  • Ability to work with an interdisciplinary team and effectively communicate with non-experts in analog and digital electronics
  • Ability to work with system-level designers to craft electronics requirements
