About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Group Supervisor to join our team at Desert Lily Academy, an affiliate of Rite of Passage. As a Group Supervisor, you will play a vital role in the care and supervision of at-risk youth, providing a supportive and therapeutic environment that fosters positive change and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Exercise independent judgment and authority in the direction and supervision of students and staff to meet the expectations of the services provided.
  • Direct control and direction over subordinate staff, including Senior Coach Counselors, Coach Counselors, and Night Coach Counselors, as assigned in the safety, care, and around-the-clock supervision of students in the program.
  • Participate in decisions involving processes to hire, transfer, suspend, layoff, promote, discharge, assign, evaluate performance, reward, or discipline other employees and program delivery.
Requirements
  • Empathetic, patient, and respectful attitude towards others.
  • At least 1 year of direct care experience with juveniles.
  • Experience in a supervisory role.
  • 21 years of age or older.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
